- Designed by the educational game company Professor Noggins, the Life in the Ocean card game provides players with 30 distinct trivia cards. On one side of each card is an illustrated picture of a hammerhead shark, octopus or one of many other ocean creatures, and on the other side is a series of questions both easy and difficult. A special three-numbered die is also included to keep the game moving forward. The Life in the Ocean card game can accommodate as few as two children and as many as eight and is recommended for children 7 years and older. Top Trumps Shark Card Game
- The Top Trumps Shark Game combines the classic card game of war with education and trivia. When all the players are gathered (two to six recommended) the dealer deals all 30 cards face down. Players can pick up all their cards but they can only look at the top card. Each card contains several facts about hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks and many other sharks. The player to the dealer's left chooses a category and reads the statistic. Then the next player reads the statistic for the same category and so on until every player has gone. The person holding the category with the highest number value wins a "trick" and collects the top card from every player. The player that gets all the cards is the winner. The Top Trumps Shark Game sells for under $10.
Munchin Booty 2
- Munchin Booty 2 is an interactive dice and card game designed by Steve Jackson and John Kovalic and produced by Steve Jackson Games. In Munchin Booty 2, children fill the roles of explorers trying to get the treasure, but they must first defeat the hammerhead shark and other enemies to win the game. Players use dice and strategy to defeat enemies, and each time a player wins a battle, he also wins the possessions of the defeated foe. Munchin Booty 2 can be played with two to six players and, according to the website BoardGameGeek, Munchin Booty 2 is designed for children over the age of 12. Munchin Booty 2 sells for under $20.
