How to Use a Borders Rewards Card

Register your Borders Rewards card online at Borders.com/rewards or at the Borders Search kiosk within the Borders store. This will enable you to check your account balance online. In addition, if you forget your card when making a purchase at a Borders store, the associate can look up your number by your email address.

Make a qualifying purchase at any Borders, Borders Express or Waldenbooks store or Borders.com. Qualifying purchases exclude gift cards and gift certificates.

Present your Borders Rewards card to the cashier during checkout, or enter the preprinted number on your card during the online check-out process. Earn $5 in Borders Bucks for every $150 of qualifying purchases you make.

Apply your rewards toward a purchase at Borders.com or at Borders or Waldenbooks stores before the last day of the following month in which you received the rewards by presenting the card to the cashier and informing her that you want to redeem your rewards, or by entering your card number during online purchasing. For example, if you purchased $150 worth of qualifying goods in the month of February, you would receive $5 in Border Bucks on March 1. You would have until March 31 to use the rewards before they expire.
