Cuddly Cake Maker
This simple game focuses mostly on the decorating side of cake making. Its simple controls and goals make it a good cake baking game for younger children and beginning gamers. In the center of the game screen is a smiling and pleasant birthday cake. Scattered around the cake are the ingredients you can use to make the cake. These include different color frostings, new layers, toppings and much more. Simply click and drag each ingredient to the cake to place it. Make sure you adjust each ingredient carefully as it does not automatically click into place. A handy "reset" button will take every ingredient off the cake and leave you with a blank slate. There are many possible combinations for the cake, so children should be able to have a lot of fun with this game until they advance to more complex gaming styles.
Cake Making for Sue
There are many cake making games available, but many of them lack personality. "Cake Making for Sue" has one thing that many other cake games don't have: an identifiable character. Sue wakes up one morning, sick but determined to make cakes. However, her focus is lacking so you need to help her making her cakes. To the left, your helper will be holding a small memo card with your cake recipe. Follow the instructions on the card by clicking and dragging your ingredients, in the correct order, to the preparation area. Once you are done, click "done" and it is automatically sent to the oven and baked and served. You can then focus on the next cake. The variety of ingredients make up to 20 different cakes possible, making this one of the more diverse of the cake baking games available for free online.
Maggie's Bakery
Most cake making games are fun, but few of them go in depth on the cake baking process. This game will actually help teach children about the process of baking a cake. The mouse based control is simple and intuitive. Each game is timed and children earn bonus points for finishing quickly. Children must follow the simple onscreen instructions. For example, they will start by adding eggs to the bowl by clicking on the eggs multiple times. They will then add water, flour and other ingredients in the same way. Clicking on the spoon in the bowl will stir everything up. The mix is then poured into a mold which is dragged into the oven and heated by clicking the timer. Once it's been frosted, the kids will get instructions on where to drag the top decorations including strawberries and grapes.
