Switch
You can play this game with at least four children. Divide the group into evenly-numbered teams. Each team must study the others' clothing and accessories to determine later on what the team members have changed about their appearance. Once Team A has had a minute to look at Team B, have Team A go into another room. While Team A is gone, the kids on Team B must trade some of their clothes--such as sweaters and shoes--as well as the less obvious things such as jewelry and hair clips. Once the switch is done, bring the other team back in and have them guess which things were changed. After their turn, have Team A and B switch places, with Team A exchanging items to fool Team B. Whichever team makes the most correct guesses wins the game.
Guess the Food
If your children are in the mood for a snack and a game, this activity will certainly do the job. Grab some foods that your children have a chance of recognizing, and blindfold the kids. Give them each one piece of the same food at the same time. They now have to try and figure out what they're holding by tasting, touching and smelling it. Whichever child guesses the food correctly first wins the round and gets a point. Continue this process until you've reached as many rounds as you like, and count the points of each child to determine the winner.
Shadow Play
For children who enjoy shadow puppets, you can play this game if you have a white sheet and a flashlight. Attach a sheet to a curtain or shower rod with enough room between the sheet and the wall so you can stand behind it. Grab a few items around the house that your children may be familiar with, and assemble your children in front of the sheet. Turn off the lights and stand behind the sheet with your items and flashlight. Hold an item a few inches away from the sheet and flash your light on it so that it creates a shadow for your children to see on the other side. The children then guess each item you hold up. The person who correctly guesses more items wins the game.
