Squeal Piggy Squeal
A barrel of laughs and squeals, kids of all ages will get a kick out of this "guess who" game from PartyPlay.co.uk. All of the kids sit in a circle with the "it' player sitting in the center with his pillow. With the "it" player blindfolded, all of the children quickly switch places in the circle. Then "it" sits his pillow and himself on someone in the circle and exclaims, "squeal, piggy, squeal." That person must squeal, and "it" tries to guess who that is. If he guess correctly, the "piggy" becomes "it." If not, "it" moves to another lap and the game continues until he can correctly guess the name of the squealing pig.
Jousting Bananas
In this party game, children battle to the death--the death of their bananas, that is. Give each child a banana for her sword. Two kids face off and banana fight until only one banana remains "reasonably intact," according to PartyPlay.co.uk. Children may only hit bananas; if she purposely hits her opponent's body, she is out. The winner of the first bout receives a fresh banana and plays the next challenger. The game continues until one child has been crowned the jousting banana champion.
Baby Food Hot Potato
Instead of a hot potato, give the children a jar of baby food to pass around. Make sure no kid will want the jar to land in his lap by picking only the "gross" baby food flavors such as green beans, peas or a mix of foods that sound like they should never be mashed together. When the music begins, the children pass the jar around the circle. As soon as the music stops, the person left holding the jar of food must eat it.
