Mummy Wrap
The mummy wrap game is an entertaining game for kids 10 years and up, according to KidsPartyCabin.com. The game requires several rolls of toilet paper. Divide the kids into two teams and pick two people--the birthday boy or girl and a guest-- to be the "mummies." Ask both people to stand with their arms and legs out. Two other people will wrap the mummies. Contestants have two minutes to wrap the mummies in the toilet paper, covering as much of them as possible, leaving the nose and mouth free. The team with the person who most resembles a mummy at the end of time wins. Take turns passing the toilet paper around if teams are large.
Scavenger Hunt
Divide the kids into two to three teams, depending on the size of your party. Give them a list of items they need to find and a radius of how far they can go to find the items in your neighborhood. The first team to collect all the items on the list wins. Decide whether teams should collect the actual items or simply take a photo of them. Give each member of the winning team a prize. To keep the harmony among the kids, give a small consolation prize to the other players.
Pinata
This game is best played outside. Fill a pinata with candy or small prizes before the party. You'll need a long stick or bat to crack open the pinata and a blindfold. Each child gets a chance to hit the pinata, although traditionally the birthday boy or girl goes first. Put a bandanna on the player, spin her around and give her one or two chances to hit the pinata. Once all the kids have had a chance to hit the pinata, go back through the line and have them try again until it breaks open. Everyone is a winner in this game because when the pinata breaks, they can collect the candy or prizes that fall to the ground.
