Planet Pursuit
"Planet Pursuit" is an online game at funschool.kaboose.com that offers a fun twist on learning information about outer space. Kids are tested on trivia related to planets, suns, moons, asteroids, the atmosphere and solar system. Use your keyboard and mouse to maneuver around in space and the space bar to shoot meteors out of the way. Energy cells keep your meter high so you have more time on the planet's surface, shield icons replenish your shield, asteroids try to crash into you. Pick up the little orange ball, which represents the sun, as it helps get asteroids out of your way. Land on the planet, collect the probe and read the planet data in order to be able to descramble the quiz code. When you collect five probes you complete your mission. Keep your eyes open for treacherous weather elements that act as obstacles to prevent you from acquiring probes while on the planets. The game is over when you arrive back on Earth.
