Things You'll Need
Instructions
Purchase a large piece of white foam-core board, measuring at least 2 feet by 2 feet. You can use colored foam-core board too if you're gluing a picture of the donkey on it or coloring over it. Most office supply stores carry foam-core board.
Glue or draw a picture of a donkey onto the foam-core board. Make it large enough that it̵7;s easy to see the head and read of the donkey and so you or the children can color in and add details as they like.
You can download templates for the donkey drawing from several websites , or just glue a photo or drawing of a donkey to the board (see Resources). Your donkey doesn't have to be realistic; a cartoonish donkey can be fun and cute.
Decorate the donkey. You or the children could add a saddle or harness to the donkey, ribbons in its mane or color in zebra stripes or polka dots.
Add a barnyard in the background, along with other animals or add in a human handler for the donkey. Your imagination is the limit.
Place the pin board on an easel or attach it to the wall using removable tape, tacks, or other adhesives. Make sure that the area in front of the pin board is clear of toys and furniture.
