Things You'll Need
Instructions
Make capes out of simple fabrics or sheets. Make as many capes as you will have players. Use a variety of colors and patterns; you can use solid colors, stripes or themed patterns, such as sports or under-the-sea. Place fabric on a flat surface and trace the outline of a cape with a pencil. Also trace two long strips extending from the top of the cape. You will use these strips to tie capes around each player̵7;s neck. Cut out the capes.
Design emblems. Make as many emblems as you have capes. Come up with simple emblem ideas that can evoke a variety of super-hero identities. For example, you might use an image of the Earth, a butterfly, a tree or an ocean wave. Place the emblem̵7;s main symbol within a bold shape, such as a diamond, circle or square. Draw the emblem on white card stock with pens or markers.
Gather accessories. Find household objects such as watches, swim goggles, mittens or potholders. A super-hero with these accessories might be able to travel to the future, breathe underwater, survive in extreme cold or cook efficiently for hundreds of people at once. Find twice as many accessories as you have capes and emblems if you want each player to draw two items from this bag.
Place the capes, emblems, and accessories in an opaque paper bag or trash bag for players to draw from.
