Makeup Artist Game
Let your daughter invite her friends for a makeup party. They will play these games long into the day, and into the night if you allow them to have a sleepover. Structured games could include playing "Beauty Makeover", something akin to the various makeover shows on television. Have a camera ready. The little girls can compete to see who can do the best makeovers.
In one version, team up the girls into pairs. Each team member makes over her teammate. The team which has done the best pair of makeovers wins. In another version, which will take longer, each girl gets the opportunity to makeover all her friends. Each made-over girl will give all her new looks a score, thereby scoring the makeup artist's skill. So at the end of a round, take photos of all the girls and save the digital images in a file by each makeup artist. Later, each girl will need to look at all her pictures and score each of them based on how much she liked each of the various looks her friends gave her. Between rounds, the girls wash up. Then the next girl takes a turn. In the end, every girl has made up all the other girls and there are files of photos. Review the images. As each girl sees her photo, she scores that look. The scoring may be on a scale of one to five or simply by ranking them in the order they like, with the best being given the highest number and the least favorite being the one. In the end, each makeup artist has a collection of scores and the one with the highest total score is the winner.
Fantasy Makeup Game
Let the girls play by creating fantasy makeup, which can be more like face painting. Using makeup, the girls can make each other up to look like animals. Show them photos of the cast of "Cats" to give them ideas. Or they might prefer to use create swirls and flowers on each others faces, transforming them into fairies. Other makeovers could include characters such as witches, zombies or vampires. This would be especially popular if the girls are getting ready for a Halloween party or trick-or-treating.
