Cooking Mama

• The Cooking Mama games allow you to cook interactively, using your video game controls as knife, grater, rolling pin and any other tool you may need in the kitchen. This game is available for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS and comes in two versions: Cooking Mama World Kitchen and Cooking Mama: Cook Off. Cooking Mama World Cuisine allows you to make recipes from all over the world while playing entertaining mini kitchen games in the meantime. Cooking Mama: Cook Off is a challenge game, in which you cook a variety of dishes against the clock, often having to adjust your timing or make last-minute decisions so your meal will turn out right. You will be rewarded bronze, silver or gold metals based on the quality of your dish.

Cake Mania

• Cake Mania: In the Mix is a cake-baking game similar to Cooking Mama that allows you to mix, bake and decorate your own cakes by using your Wii remote control or Nintendo DS controlling buttons. Cake Mania: In the Mix is a sequel to Cake Mania and Cake Mania 2 and offers better features, such as custom cake designs, new characters and expert advice. A version of Cake Mania is also available for Playstation 2, called Cake Mania: Bakers Challenge. It goes beyond the cake baking to the actual management and marketing of the bakery.

Burger Island

• Burger Island allows you to put your restaurant cooking skills to the test. In this game for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, you make burgers, fries and milkshakes for customers in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As you progress higher through the 60 levels, you will unlock up to 30 new recipes. Beyond the actual cooking aspect of this game, you must manage the restaurant as well. You will earn money as you please customers and increase business. You also have the responsibility of opening Burger Island franchises in five other tropical destinations.
