Lady and the Tramp Games to Play

Walt Disney's animated classic "Lady and the Tramp" remains a favorite of adults and children alike. After watching the movie, your child may want the adventures to continue. You can help your child enjoy more "Lady and the Tramp" adventures by helping him play the following games online and in your home.
  1. Crowd Patrol

    • You can have your child search for Lady and the Tramp in a Crowd Patrol game at http://www.fgn-guild.com/games/game_665.php. The game has three rounds, and your child can select easy or normal levels of difficulty.

With a 3 minute clock running, your child must find Lady &the Tramp from within a crowd of animals. Have your child click on the dogs when he finds them. If he clicked on the right characters, he gets points based on the amount of time it took him to find them and advances to the next round. If he clicked on the wrong characters, he gets a strike and loses time. The game concludes either when your child correctly locates Lady &the Tramp in all 3 rounds, or when he gets 3 strikes or runs out of time.

    Puzzles

    • Your child can put together an interactive Lady and the Tramp tile puzzle at http://www.y8.com/games/Sort_My_Tiles_Lady_and_the_Tramp. Using his mouse, have your child click on the red button on the bottom left of the screen; this will release a tile, which your child then looks to place in the proper position. If your child places the tile in the wrong spot, he will not be able to grab another title until he puts it in the right spot.

Have your child continue grabbing and placing tiles until he has filled in the whole scene, which depicts the dog duo sharing their spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Your child also can piece together the same scene at http://www.y8.com/games/Puzzle_Mania_Lady_and_the_Tramp; here, the pieces are more like that of a jigsaw puzzle. Have your child use his mouse to drag puzzle pieces from the right side of the puzzle scene to their proper slot.

For more interactive games, you can check out the 50th anniversary edition DVD of the movie at http://www.amazon.com. While the title currently is out of print, you can purchase the movie from merchants that sell titles through Amazon.com.

    Table Setting

    • If your child wants an activity with more of a live-action take on the classic spaghetti and meatballs dinner scene, you can help him recreate the scene for himself. Start by preparing a table for two with a tablecloth, a rose in vase and a small amount of spaghetti and a meatball. Hopefully, your child (or someone in the house) has some plush stuffed animals (hopefully dogs) to seat at the table.

Use scotch tape to tape one strand of pasta from one dog's mouth to the other dog's mouth. Have your child (or yourself) take pictures of the dogs sharing their meal. You can shorten the strands bit by bit for each picture you take. You can put the photos in an album and the result will resemble scenes from the movie unfolding before your eyes.

If you happen to have a female cocker spaniel and a male mutt, and they get along well, do not mind sharing a meal and posing for pictures, you and your child literally can recreate the classic "Lady and the Tramp" scene.
