Disney Games for Young Kids

Since the 1920s, Disney has ranked as a favorite among families across America. Disney has evolved over the years from a small cartoon to more cartoons, movies, theme parks, activities and games. Whether you just want to entertain your child at home or entertain a group of kids at a birthday party, there are plenty of Disney games and activities for young kids.
  1. Online Games

    • Disney's website has plenty of games for young children. On their homepage, they have an option where you can choose "preschool," and then pick a theme. From that point, your child can pick a character and begin to have fun.

They can choose to play games, print activities or watch videos. There are even options for parents to choose crafts and recipes for their child.

Also on Disney's homepage, you can choose "Games." Under that option, you can choose arcade, puzzles and even word games.

Some of the games on Disney's website are a great opportunity for your kid to have fun and learn at the same time. The site so easy to navigate that after helping your child a few times, they can probably navigate the site themselves.

    Birthday Games

    • Many kids choose to have Disney themed birthday parties. Right now, one popular theme among young girls is a princess themed birthday party.

There are many games and activities you can do at a princess themed birthday party. When the girls arrive, you can send them to a make-up table where someone will put a bit of eye shadow, blush and lipstick on each girl.

Instead of playing Musical Chairs, you can play "Pass the Slipper." It follows the same idea as Musical Chairs. Before the birthday party, paint a high-heeled shoe silver and put some glitter on the shoe. Have the kids stand in a circle and turn on the music. After a short time, stop the music. Whoever is holding the shoe is out. Continue until only one person is left. That child gets to be the princess until the next game.

Another game you can play is called "Who Am I?" Get together the same number of index cards as you have guests coming to the birthday party. Put a princess sticker on each card and tape it to each guests back as they arrive. They have to ask questions throughout the birthday party to try to figure out which princess they are.

    Printable Games

    • One more option for Disney games for young kids is absolutely free. You can go to many websites and find free activities to print. The activities can range from coloring activities to word searches and word scrambles. These options are quick, easy and often educational.
