Blues Clues Games for Kids

Blue's Clues, a half-hour animated series for kids, stars Steve, a live-action host, or his brother Joe and a blue puppy named Blue. Accompanied by Blue, Steve or Joe takes viewers into an animated world to solve the puzzle of the day. Children can play along to find and figure out the day's clues. Extend the fun beyond the television show by having your child play Blue's Clues games.
  1. Online Games

    • To play Blue's Clues games online, log on to Nick Jr.'s website and find the Blue's Clues game section of the website. The site offers several choices--including counting games, spelling games and mix-and-match games. Each game is geared toward a specific developmental skill. Click on a game for a brief description and to see the appropriate age group for the game. Once you and your child have decided which game to play, click on "Play the game." Turn up the volume on your computer's speakers to hear instructions. Use the mouse to click along, helping your child when necessary.

    Video Games

    • VTech V. Smile, a video-game learning system for kids, offers Blue's Clues Collection Day. This educational game is compatible with V. Smile and V. Smile Pocket gaming systems and is suitable for children age 3 and older. Play this game with your child to test shape, color, letter and music skills. Among other video games are Blue's Clues Blues Big Musical for PlayStation, which includes singalongs for young children; and Blue's Clues Alphabet Book for Game Boy, which focuses on letter recognition. Check online retailers and video-game or toy stores for these games.

    Board Games

    • The board game Blue's Clues Game, published by University Games, plays much like the television show, with children finding clues and helping Blue figure out a puzzle. Read the directions before playing and then help your child piece together clues and with the included activities. In Blue's Clues Party Time Game, another board game by University Games, children can help Blue get ready for a big party. Read the rules and then help your child with the spinner and Colorform pieces. Both games are geared toward children age 3 and older. These games are available at most toy stores and through many online retailers.
