Fun Game Ideas For Girls

Slumber parties, birthday parties and play dates are all times when girls can get together to have some fun. The girls can play dress up, watch movies and listen to music to stay entertained, but they can also play some great games. The girls don't even need lots of extra supplies from a store to play these games; they can use items that you already have around the house.

Sleeping Bag Sack Race
- Split the girls into two teams with equal number of players. Give each team a sleeping bag. Create an obstacle course for the girls to hop through using items that you have around the house such as pillows and chairs. One player from each team will hop through the obstacle course in the sleeping bag. She runs back to her team once she has made it through the obstacle course and passes off the sleeping bag to the next girl. The first team to get all of its girls through the obstacle course wins. A girl must start over from the beginning of the course if she falls out of the sleeping bag at any point along the course.
Mafia
- Take one queen, one king and one ace from a deck of cards; add enough number cards to these three cards so that you have a deck with one card for each girl playing the game. For example, if 10 girls are playing you will need 7 number cards and the three face cards. Shuffle the cards and pass them out to the girls face down. Have the girls look at their cards and explain that the girl with the ace is the mafia, the girl with the queen is the doctor and the girl with the king is the cop. All the rest of the girls are just normal people. Gather all of the cards and have the girls close their eyes.
  
  Ask the mafia to open her eyes and silently point to the person they want to kill. Tell the mafia to close their eyes. Ask the doctor to open her eyes and point to the person she wants to save. Have the doctor close her eyes. Ask the cop to open her eyes and point to the girl she thinks is the mafia and then have her close her eyes.
  
  Have all the girls open their eyes. Announce whom the mafia killed and whether the doctor saved the right person. The person killed by the mafia is out of the game unless the doctor saved them. The mafia loses if the cop caught the right bad girl. All the girls vote on who they think the mafia is; if they vote correctly then they win, if they vote incorrectly then the person they voted for is out of the game.
  
  The game keeps going like this until the girls catch the mafia or until the doctor and the cop are out. A tie occurs when the doctor, cop and mafia are the only players left.
Shadow Buff
- Turn off all of the lights in the room except for one lamp with the shade removed. Have one girl sit on the floor a few yards in front of the lamp facing a blank wall. The other girls take turns standing in front of the lamp in different poses while the girl sitting on the floor tries to guess their identity. The game starts over again when the girl on the floor correctly identifies a girl's identity, with that girl becoming it.
