Instructions

    • 1

Use a Paint program or a similar program to get ready to make your fake printable money for free.

    • 2

Choose a picture you want to use. It can be a picture of a president to make your kids feel more like it's real or some kids especially like when the play money has their own picture on it.

    • 3

Create a rectangle 350 X 170 pixels. Most programs, including Paint have a box in the lower right that shows how many pixels you are drawing. Refer to the picture on the left to see what area.

    • 4

Situate the photo you chose in the middle and use the circle tool to form an oval around it.

    • 5

Erase any edges of the photo that are outside of the oval. It's okay if you are a little sloppy, just try to make the edges look a little round.

    • 6

Use the text object to add the fake money value in all four corners of the rectangle. The top number should be in a slightly larger font than the lower one.

    • 7

Add any extra decorations in the open spaces, such as writing the dollar amount out in words, or adding a 'seal' to it.

    • 8

Copy the play money for kids and paste it 9 more times. You should have a sheet of money that is 2 X 5.

    • 9

Use "Print Preview" to ensure the fake money is fitting the page properly.

    • 10

Print on light green construction paper with dark ink. You just made fake printable money for free!
