Copy Me
Have the girls lie on their own large size piece of paper and draw around them. Next have the girls paint each figure. They do not have to stick with what everybody is wearing when it comes to painting the clothes. Have them use their imagination and dress each in different fashions. One girl could be a princess, another could be an astronaut. Once they are done have the girls show off their paintings. Roll each up and secure with a rubber band. This way they can take it home and use it like a poster on their walls.
Tattoo Me
Acrylic paints are safe to apply on the skin. They also wash off in the shower or bath. Explain to the girls that they are to stay away from the mouth and eyes of the girl that they are painting. Have them paint on leg, arm, or face tattoos. This can be large butterflies on the ankle or climbing roses on their arms. Let the girls go wild with this game. This is a non-permanent pain-free way to experiment with body art.
Splatter Art
This game must be an outside game. Hang a large sheet of paper between two trees. Provide the girls with large containers of paint and a few strange items. These items can be toothbrushes, sponges, spoons, forks or just about anything. Encourage them to take paint and splatter it on the paper. They can also use their hands and feet. This way all the girls work on one giant piece of artwork. Once the painting is dry and moved inside, clean the girls and the area with a garden hose and a little bit of soap. Display the girls' piece of artwork for the parents to see when they come to pick up their children.
