Create an enclosure for your skate park. Take your 2' by 2" cardboard box and set it on the floor, base down. Use your ruler and pencil to measure up 6" from the base. Then draw a straight line around the perimeter of the box. Use your utility knife to cut along this line. Keep the base of the box and put the rest aside.
Take your boxes of playing cards and place two each side by side at the midpoint of any two opposite interior sides of your enclosure. One of the wider sides of each card box should be touching the enclosure's side. Stand the boxes up lengthwise and stick them to the base with masking tape.
Cut two 5" by 5" squares out of a manila folder. Place the bottom edge of one square 1" in front of each set of card boxes, making sure they are centered in front of them. Tape this bottom edge to the enclosure base and tape the top edge to the top of the card boxes. You will have to bend the paper slightly. Now you have your kicker ramps.
Take two new manila folders and cut them in half at the crease. Then turn all of the pieces so that the longest edges are facing you. Tape the papers together, end to end, so you have one long paper sheet. Lay it across the skate park enclosure so that it overlaps the two sides that do not have kicker ramps. Try to leave the same amount of excess paper on each side. This will be your half pipe.
Hold one end of your long sheet of paper in each hand and pull as tight as you wish to adjust the steepness of your half pipe. When you have it how you want it, tape it in place. You can cut off the excess paper or just leave it there.
Make a rail. Take two pieces of Styrofoam that are 2" by 2" by 2". Mark the center point of each piece. Stab the tip of your pen into one of these points and the base of the pen into the other. Take the cap off the pen before you do this so your rail is even and smooth. Set your rail anywhere in your skate park.
