Things You'll Need
Instructions
Split the group of kids evenly and have each group line up on one side of the playing area. If you're in a field, map out a big rectangular playing space and have each group on the far ends of the rectangle. If you're in a gym, have the kids line up against opposite walls. Designate a center line in the playing area as well.
Blow the whistle and have all the kids run to the center line. Each kid should find the person running toward him directly in front of him, as this is the person he will face off against.
Assume the position. Once they reach the center line, they must assume the position of a giant (standing up tall and spreading their arms), a wizard (sticking arms up straight to make a point like a hat), or an elf (squatting down). Giants beat the wizard, wizards beat the elf, and elves beat the giant.
Tag out other players. Whichever person looses the confrontation must run back to the sideline where he initially ran from. If a player is tagged, he is out. If he makes it to the line, he is safe and the other person must return to her own sign.
Continue eliminating players until only one person is left standing. This person is the winner. Usually by this point, most of the players are so worn out (especially if it's a large playing area) that they won't want to play again and one game will be enough.
