Things You'll Need
Instructions
Bring out your parachute and assemble the kids around the outer rim, each holding a handle. Have them wave the parachute up and down to get used to the flow and feel of the parachute. Plus, this gets them all excited.
Bring out your bucket of pumpkin bean bags or balls. They can be regular bean bags or balls, or other-themed bean bags and balls if you want to play the game at Christmas or Easter or for birthdays. Tell the kids to bring the parachute down and to hold their handles.
Tell the kids that, at the count of three, they're going to pull their parachute handles up, to get the parachute floating upwards. At the count of three, toss in the bucket of pumpkin bean bags or balls. Tell the kids to wave the parachute like mad. This will get the balls and bean bags bouncing up and over and shooting straight up and out towards the walls and all around the room. Be prepared for excited screaming.
Have the kids flap the parachute until all the bean bags or balls are off the parachute. Ask if they want to play again and the answer will be a screamed yes. Tell them to scramble around to pick up all the balls/bean bags. Hold the bucket over your head and tell them to shoot the balls and bean bags into the bucket. This will have them running to clean up, because making a basket into the bucket is really fun.
Start again with Step 2. Play as many times as the kids want.
