How to Catch Battling Pokemon Online

Find a friend that has the Pokemon that you want to catch. Using the Wi-Fi connection, have you and your friend join the local battle arena. Battle your friend until his or her Pokemon is at low health. Then use a Pokeball to capture the new Pokemon. To capture other Pokemon that your friends do not have, log on to a world wide Pokemon arena with your DS through a Wi-Fi connection. Battle Pokemon and capture as normal.

Make sure your Wii is connected to the Internet. If you have a DS and a Wii, connect the DS to the Wii using the included cord connectors. Once the DS is connected to the Wii, use Pokemon Battle Revolution to catch new Pokemon and add them to your DS or Wii collection. Join an online battle arena in Pokemon Battle Revolution. Choose someone to battle who owns a Pokemon that you want to catch. Battle as normal, and then when their health is low, use a Pokeball to capture that Pokemon.

Conduct an Internet search for online Pokemon games. Usually these are based off of online groups, or are played through email. One popular Pokemon game like this is Pokemon Crater. These games are not offered by Nintendo, so if you catch any of these Pokemon you will not be able to transfer them to your DS or Wii. Join Pokemon online for even more Pokemon fun. While not an official Nintendo game, it is almost as close as you can get. Pokemon online is a Massively Multi-player Online Role-Playing Game. In this game you are able to connect with thousands of other Pokemon enthusiasts to capture even the most elusive Pokemon. This game is run like official Pokemon games with graphics that are based on the original games. Capturing Pokemon in these games works the same way as in the official Pokemon games. You can either find them walking around on their own, or you can battle other players to capture their Pokemon.

Sometimes a regular Pokeball is not strong enough to capture a difficult Pokemon. Balls such as the Ultra ball, master ball, dusk ball and great ball are all stronger balls to use to be more effective at capturing Pokemon.
