  • 1/2-inch rope
  • Utility knife
  • Electrical tape
  • 1/2-inch thick dowels
  • Handsaw
  • Sandpaper

Instructions

      Cut the rope with a utility knife into at least four 15-inch pieces. Shape one piece of rope into a circle and tape the two ends together to form a ring. Wrap a longer piece of tape around the ends to make sure they do not come undone. Repeat the taping process until you have at least four rings.

      Cut the dowels with a handsaw to 15-inch long pieces. Use sandpaper to sand any rough edges.

      Apply glue to the end of each dowel and affix it to the piece of plywood. You can form rows of dowels or even create a shape. Attach a prize or point value to each dowel so the kids will know what they can win if they are successful.
