How to Make a Water Squirt Racing Game

Hot summer days can make people feel tired or lazy. Instead of wasting a free day watching television or chasing an oscillating fan, move outside with a water squirt racing game. This game can be played with the family or a group of kids to cool off, exercise and have fun on a hot day.

Things You'll Need

2 squirt guns
2 plastic baseball bats

Instructions

  Mark a start and finish line using stakes, ropes or landmarks such as trees.

  Place two squirt guns, two plastic baseball bats and two people serving as referees at the finish line.

  Divide the group into two teams and have each team line up at the start line.

  Start the race by having the first person from each team run to the finish line, place one end of the bat on the ground and the other on their foreheads, and spin around 10 times. The referees should count the spins to make sure everyone is playing fairly. When the first person finishes spinning, she grabs the squirt gun and shoots the person on the other team. She can then run back to the start, tag the next person in line and continue the race. The first team to have all members complete the race wins. The losing team will probably be very wet and looking for a rematch.
