Bingo Games
Play a game of animal bingo at a Noah̵7;s Ark birthday party. Print bingo cards with pictures of animals in the bingo squares. Give the children animal crackers to use as bingo markers. Call out different animals and have the children mark their cards. The first child to bingo and yell ̶0;I love the story of Noah̵7;s Ark,̶1; wins the game. For a fast game of bingo, print two of each animal on the bingo card. When you call out the animals, the children will mark off two squares. The first player to bingo wins the game.
Relay Races
Mark a starting line and finish line about 25 feet apart for some animal relay races. Divide the players into two teams and have them line up at the starting line. Have a turtle race by having the players crawl to and from the finish line. When you say ̶0;Race,̶1; the first player in each team line must crawl to the finish line and back to tag the next player in line. The first team to finish the relay wins the game. Other races include hopping on one leg like a flamingo, bear crawling, crab walking and running on all fours like a cheetah.
Balloon Games
Inflate several balloons and draw animal faces on each balloon. Make at least six of each animal. Create pigs by drawing pig faces on pink balloons and create cows by drawing black spots on white balloons. Place a cone in the play area and mix all the balloons up in a pile about 15 feet from the cone. Give two players a broom. When you say ̶0;Go,̶1; the players must race to the balloons and use the broom to ̶0;sweep̶1; back two of the same animal. The first player back with two of the same animal wins the game. You can also play in teams and the first team to bring back one pair of each type of animal wins the game.
Guessing Games
Write down several animal names on small slips of paper and place them in a bowl. Each child will draw a slip of paper and act out the animal one at a time. The first child to guess the animal wins a small prize. You can also have the children play animal charades in teams and the team who guesses the most animals correctly wins the game. Another idea is to tape an animal on the back of each player̵7;s shirt. The children can ask other players yes or no questions about their animal to try to guess what it is. The first player to guess his animal correctly wins the game.
