One baby shower game using pillowcases helps guests understand what it is like for the expectant mother to get around with her newly enlarged baby belly. In a baby shower relay books are stuffed into pillowcases until each weighs about 15 pounds. The pillowcases are tied to the bellies of party guests and the women have to run down a lane, pick up a baby item off of the floor on the way back, and attach the belly to the next guest on their team. Even if the baby bump does not slow the women down when running, trying to bend over with an additional 15-pound belly will.

The goal of the game is try and feel what is inside of the pillowcase from the outside and write down what you think the items are. Items that can be put in the pillowcase for this game can include a pacifier, a breast pump, a diaper, a baby brush, baby nail clippers, a bottle and any other uniquely shaped items often found in the homes of parents with new babies.
Stuffed Animals
Stuffed animals can be placed inside of a pillowcase in order to create a baby shower petting zoo. Guests can stick their hands into different pillowcases with different stuffed animals inside and try to guess what type of animal it is.
Prizes for Guests
A white pillowcase can easily be decorated with fabric paint and changed into a baby shower prize grab bag. When someone wins a game that is being played at the baby shower she can choose a gift-wrapped prize out of the grab bag and be treated with a special appreciation gift. Gifts that can be wrapped and placed in the grab bag include body wash, scented candles, kitchen tools and any other items guests of the expectant mother might enjoy taking home with them.
