Instructions
Ask friends if they want to play the "Werewolf" game. The game is ideally suited for 5-20 players, but the game can be played with even more.
Explain the theme to the players. It is important that they understand that two werewolves are loose on the town and that they must be stopped before they eat all of the villagers.
Direct the players in inventing roles. Encourage them to come up with jobs, such as farmer, smith, or school teacher for the imaginary colonial village.
Tell everyone to put their heads down and wait for your order before looking up again. Tell them not to look up even if they are tapped.
Quietly walk around the entire room. Tap two players on the shoulder. Walk by every player in the room. If players hear that you do not walk near certain players, then those players know that the avoided players cannot be the werewolf.
Tell the players to raise their heads.
Explain to the players that two of the players are werewolves, and every night they kill one villager. During the day, however, the villagers can lynch a townsperson whom they think is a werewolf. The werewolves win the game when no villagers survive. The villagers win when no werewolves survive.
Explain that the players whom you tapped are the werewolves
Tell everybody to put their heads down for the first night.
Tell the werewolves to lift their heads and to point at the villager they wish to eat.
Tell the werewolves to put their heads back down.
Tell all players to lift their heads.
Inform the eaten player that he is dead and out of the game.
Allow the townspeople to discuss whom they are going to lynch.
Repeat these steps each night and day until one side wins the game.
