Plastic Pool Games
Fill two plastic swimming pools with water, ice cubes and 20 marbles (in each pool). Select two party guests to take off their shoes and socks. Have each guest stand in one of the pools and set a timer for 30 seconds. When you say "Go," the players must find, grab and pull out as many marbles as they can using only their toes. They can sit the marbles on the outside of the pool. The player who finds the most in 30 seconds wins the game. For a dirtier version, fill the pools with gelatin, noodles and slime. Have the guests hunt for plastic bugs using their toes.
Food Games
Have all the guests line up and put a paper plate in front of each guest. Place an artichoke heart on each player's plate. When you say "Eat," the first player to eat the entire heart wins a prize. Other food items include sun-dried tomatoes, black olives and anchovies. You can also have the players eat condiments, such as mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and relish, instead of foods.
Obstacle Course
Create an obstacle course for the party guests to complete in teams or individually. Time individuals or teams and the player or team with the fastest time wins the race. Some obstacle ideas include large wading pools full of mud guests must crawl through, buckets full of slime they must find flags in, plates of gummy worms or gross food to eat and hula-hoops to maneuver through to the end of the course.
Bug Games
Test the fear of your party guests with real bug games. Place several crickets in a box and cut a hole in the top of the box. Cover the hole with fabric so the bugs cannot get out. Cut an "X" in the fabric so the guests can stick their hands inside the box. Place three keys or plastic stars in the box. The guest who removes all three keys in the fastest amount of time wins the live bug game. Other bugs you can include in the box are grasshoppers and beetles.
