Ouija Board
One of the most popular and controversial supernatural games is the Ouija board, available at most stores that sell board games. A group of two or more huddle around the board, which is lying on a flat surface, and everyone places one or more fingers on the pointer. Take turns asking questions out loud. The board spells out the answer or moves to the "Yes" or "No" spots on the board. The idea is that the game is channeling spirits, and they are the ones answering your questions.
Light as a Feather
Another common game among children is "light as a feather, stiff as a board." To play, you have one person lie on the ground with enough room for four to six people sitting on the floor around her. Those people place their hands -- usually just the index and middle finger -- under the person lying on the ground. Together, everyone chants "light as a feather, stiff as board," over and over. The idea is that the person lying on the ground is supposed to become, literally, light as a feather and stiff as a board and levitate off the ground.
Bloody Mary
One or more people go into the bathroom and turn off the lights and lock the door. In complete darkness, one or all of the people must call out "Bloody Mary" three times. Supposedly, upon the third time calling out her name, she is to appear in the mirror and punish the one who summoned her.
Cat Scratches
Choose one brave person to lie on her stomach on the floor. Turn off all of the lights and choose another person to tell a story that results in someone getting scratched by a cat. Once the story has been completed, turn on the light and see whether the person lying on the ground has any scratches on their back!
