Mall Adventures
There is a lot of fun to be had in your local mall. Utilize the different, and sometimes wacky, stores in your area to create your scavenger hunt. For example, have the groups head to a Build-A-Bear workshop and create an "unloveable" stuffed animal. Other examples include: having participants try on clothes of the opposite sex in a dressing room, riding a children's ride and taking goofy photos in a photo booth.
Bachelorette Party
During a bachelorette party, the bride-to-be and her friends want to have a fun, and slightly risque, night. Create a scavenger hunt you can take to the bars. Try to get phone numbers, kisses and drinks from men that are cute, as well as men that are ugly. Order fun shots at the bar. Do body shots, and dance like a maniac. Pick anything that will make the night a riot, but make sure your participants will feel comfortable with what you ask them to do.
Gift Shop Scavenger Hunt
When you are sightseeing on vacation, you are bound to come across tons of tacky souvenir shops. Turn the stops into competitions to see who can find the tackiest gift items. Spoons, t-shirts and shot glasses are all common staples that can be part of the list. Give out bonus points to funny, cute or weird souvenirs. If you do not want to spend your money on the tacky items, just have everyone participating take pictures of the various gifts.
Glow-In-The-Dark Scavenger Hunt
By using glow-in-the-dark-paint, you can make a scavenger hunt even more exciting for young children. Paint the objects you want the group to find with a coat of glow-in-the-dark paint. Most craft and supply stores carry this product, but make sure you test it out before you cover all of your objects in it. When it is time for the hunt, kill the lights and let them search for the glowing list items. For added hilarity, allow the participants to paint their faces.
