Kids Games

• Mindless fun games for kids include any form of tag, including "Ghost in the Graveyard," a game where one child hides and the others must look for him. Once the ghost is found, he must try to tag one of the other players, who becomes the ghost in the next round. Play the "Oranges" game where kids line up in two straight lines and must pass an orange to one another using only their chins and necks. The team to do this successfully without dropping the orange wins the game.

Teen Games

• Teens usually enjoy playing "Capture the Flag," where two teams battle it out in attempts to steal the other team's flag. Each team has their own territory, and opposing team members who venture into the territory trying to capture the flag run the risk of being tagged out. Also try playing "challenge" games, where teens are challenged to complete stunts within a certain amount of time, such as saying the alphabet backwards or performing three cartwheels. Always have the teens do stunts they can perform that will not cause injury.

Adult Games

• Adult games for mindless fun include assorted drinking games such as beer pong or King's Cup, a drinking card game. Place a pint-size glass in the middle of the table and spread a deck of cards face down around the glass. Have your guests sit in a circle around the cards and glass and take turns pulling cards from the deck. Anyone that pulls a king card must pour some of their drink into the center cup. The person who pulls the last king must drink what's in the glass. Other cards pulled mean different things--two cards means the player must drink two drinks, three cards means three drinks, and so on.

Games for All Age Groups

• Mindless fun games to be enjoyed by all age groups include miniature golf tournaments, which you can set up in your backyard or rent time at a miniature-golf establishment. Another mindless fun game everyone can enjoy is water balloon target games, where participants throw water balloons at a target. Results are recorded to determine a winner. Water balloon tag is another option. Relay games using an assortment of materials is another mindless game to be enjoyed by all.
