  Obtain the songs for your karaoke CD. Karaoke CDs use only a specific CDG file type which includes the song as well as the lyrics. Many websites, such as Buy Karaoke Downloads and iTunes, allow users to purchase and download CDG music files for karaoke disks.

  Determine if your computer is capable of burning CD+G files. Consult the DVD/CD burner's manual from your computer to obtain the information. Many new CD/DVD burners are compatible with CD+G files.

  Obtain a CD+G burning software such as Power Karaoke, Power CD+G Burner, or Microstudio. Install the software on your computer.

  Open the CD+G burning software on your computer by double-clicking on its icon. Import the desired CDG songs from your computer and organize the songs in the desired order.

  Click on "Burn" or "Record" to begin the burning process. Insert a blank CD into your computer when prompted and allow the burner to finish the process. The software will alert you when the process is complete.
