Rock Star CD Covers
Give each party guest an empty CD case. Have everyone sit around a table and design their own rock star CD. Place construction paper, markers, paint, glitter pens, stickers and card stock on the table. Tell the party guests that they have 20 minutes to design a rock star CD cover. After 20 minutes, have each player stand up and show off his design. Award prizes for the best, most creative and funniest rock star CD case.
Rock Star Makeovers
Divide the party guests into teams of two. The teams must give each other a rock star makeover. Create different stations, such as hair, makeup, accessories and clothing, for the guests to use. At the hair station, include wigs, color hairspray and colored extensions. Place lots of makeup at the makeup station and rock star clothing, such as leather jackets, ripped T-shirts, rock band shirts and black pants. At the accessory station, place items like temporary tattoos, chain jewelry and funky sunglasses. Award prizes for the best, funniest, scariest and most creative rock star makeovers. You can also allow the party guests to compete individually.
Rock Star Performance
After the guests have their rock star makeovers, tell them they are going to put on a show. The party guests can select a partner, group or perform individually. They must select a rock song and go into different rooms to practice their performance. The guests can dance, sing and/or lip sync to the rock song. Award prizes for top performances. Be sure to record the performances for memories of your rock star party.
Rock Star Pose Freeze
Play rock music and have the party guests dance around the party area. When the music stops, everyone must freeze in a rock star pose. Anyone caught moving when the music is off is out of the game. Trick the players by turning the music off and on quickly or pausing the music for a full minute or two. The last player standing wins the rock star pose game and a rock star prize to take home as a memento of the party.
