Mail-Order Shopping
Give the teens several mail-order catalogs and give them a random amount, such as $87.90. Tell the teens they have 15 minutes to create an entire outfit from the catalogs using no more than the amount you gave them. They can cut the outfits and prices out of the catalogs to put on paper. If you do not have enough mail-order catalogs, have the girls do this game in teams. Award prizes to the girls with the most unusual outfit, cheapest outfit and outfit that comes closest to the total amount of money they were given to spend.
Celebrity Charades
Print pictures of celebrities and fold them up. Place all the pictures into a bowl and divide the girls into teams. One girl from team one must draw a celebrity from the bowl. She has one minute to act out the celebrity, while her team tries to guess who it is. If they guess correctly, they earn a point. If they do not guess correctly, the other team has one guess to try to steal the point. The first team to score 10 points wins the game.
Sweet 16 Lip-Syncing Contest
Have the girls divide into teams or allow them to perform individually. Tell the girls they are going to compete in a lip-sync and dance contest. Give the girls all sweet 16 songs like Billy Ray Cyrus's "Always Sixteen," Beyonce's "Sweet Sixteen" and the Jackson Five's "Sixteen Candles." The girls have 20 minutes to practice their songs and dance moves. After 15 minutes, they must perform to everyone at the party. Have three adults judge the girls and award prizes to the funniest, best, silliest and craziest performances.
Whipped-Cream Pies
For a messy party game, fill several empty foil pie pans with whipped cream. Try to make sure each pan has close to the same amount of whipped cream. Have the girls sit around a table with a whipped-cream pie in front of them. When you say "Eat," the girls must eat their whipped-cream pie. However, they must do this with their hands behind their back. The first girl to clean her whipped-cream plate wins the game.
