Game preparation
Send invitations to guests with a note asking for a copy of one of their old photographs. The photo should be relevant to the party, such as a baby picture for a baby shower or first birthday celebration, a graduation picture for a graduation party or a wedding photo for an anniversary party.
Attach the photos to a poster board. Use poster tack so that guests can retrieve their photo later.
Cut out a number for each photo using craft paper. Label the photos using the number cutouts.
Type up a game sheet by making enough blank numbered lines to match the amount of pictures on the board. Add decorative flourishes such as clip art to liven up the game sheet.
Playing the game
Print the game sheets and give each party guest a sheet and a pen as they arrive.
Instruct guests to look at the game board and try to guess which picture belongs to which party guest. Encourage guests to mingle and introduce themselves to one another to figure out which picture belongs to which guest.
Award a prize to the first player to correctly guess each picture.
Reveal the correct answers to the game after a winner has been chosen. This gives the players a chance to show off their old photos and give a word or two about them.
