Food and Beverage Contests
Beer-chugging contests are a popular staple at adult redneck-themed parties. Award a six-pack of the cheapest beer available to the person who chugs his beer the fastest.
A watermelon seed-spitting contest can involve kids, parents and grandparents alike -- anyone who's willing to set social graces aside can join in. Award a watermelon prize to the person who spits her seed the furthest.
Racing Game
Nothing says "redneck" like an over-sized overalls race. Have everyone bring the biggest overalls they can find to the party. Before the race, randomly assign a pair of overalls to each participant. Conduct a 50-yard race with all participants wearing the overalls that they were assigned and award the winner canned meat as a prize.
Artistic Games
Put your guests' artistic talents to work with a canned meat-sculpting contest. Give each participant a steak knife and two minutes to produce the most elegant sculpture possible. The winner of this contest is exempted from having to eat his winning creation. All the losing participants must eat their canned meat sculpture on the spot. You can also make this a mud-sculpture contest and award the winner a fly swatter or other redneck-themed accessory.
Redneck Variations of Classic Games
Play horseshoes with toilet seats rather than the traditional steel horseshoes. Toilet seat tossing, as it's called, is a popular redneck-themed game for a reason -- it's entertaining, active and competitive.
Replacing lawn bowling pins with empty beer cans is a typical redneck-themed variation on traditional lawn bowling. For the full effect, keep score on a piece of toilet paper and award the winner a pig's hoof.
