Things You'll Need
Instructions
Divide into two equal teams.
Decide as a group how many rounds to play. There should be enough rounds so that every player has an opportunity to play at least once.
Create Charades cards for the other team using strips of paper. The cards should contain a word or phrase that the other team must correctly pantomime. Words can be proper nouns, like the name of a famous person or movie. There should be enough cards for the amount of rounds you want to play. Alternatively, you can use store-bought Charades cards. Put the cards into a hat or bucket and shuffle them.
Select the team to go first by coin toss.
Draw a card randomly from your team's hat or bucket and start the timer.
Pantomime clues using your body to try and get your team to correctly guess the secret word or phrase on your card. You may not use any verbal clues such as talking, humming or whistling. You may not use any other object other than your body nor may you point or gesture to objects, people or pictures in the room.
Award one point to a team for each clue that is correctly guessed within the allotted time. If that team does not correctly guess before the timer has gone off, the opposing team can make one guess as a team to try and steal the point.
Win the game by having the most points by the end of the predetermined number of rounds. Alternatively, you can choose to play until one team reaches a predetermined number of points, in which case you should make or obtain extra Charade cards.
