Name the Tune

• Compile a playlist full of songs your friends have a chance at knowing. Gather them around the stereo or computer and play the first three seconds of the song. Let the first player to raise her hand give her guess as to the title of the song. If none of the players raise their hands or no one answers correctly, keep playing in increments of three seconds until someone guesses correctly. Every correct answer gets a point. The player with the most points at the end of the playlist wins.

Dress-up Relay

• Gather a pile of clothing items the players can put over their clothes. Items like hats, scarves and jackets work well. Make two piles with the same types of items in each. Divide the players into two teams. Stand each team in a single-file line by a pile of clothes. When you say "Go," the first player in each line puts the clothes on, then takes them off and hands them to the player behind her. This continues down the line until one team has all successfully put on and taken off the clothes, thereby winning the game.

Bloody Mary Challenge

• Use the legend of Bloody Mary to scare your friends. For any of your friends who hasn't heard of the legend, tell them that Bloody Mary, an evil woman, appears in the bathroom mirror in the dark when you repeat her name three times. Select one player to start her turn. She goes into the bathroom, turns off the lights and says "Bloody Mary" three times. Time her to see how long she lasts. Let all the guests take turns. The person to last the longest in the bathroom wins.

Zap

• If you can head outdoors for some fun, play this game. Start by picking two players out of the group to play "It." The rest of the players go outside in the backyard to hide. The two players then count to 100 inside. Once they reach 100, the two players split up and head outside with a flashlight and try to track the other players down. To tag a player, they have to shine a light on them. If a player gets zapped, she takes over for the person with the flashlight and has to count to 100 before she's back in the game. Continue playing for as long as you like.
