Letters
Have the teens sit in a circle. Give each teen a piece of paper and a pen. Tell the birthday teen to say a letter and write it down on her sheet of paper. Each teen must also write the letter down. Go around the circle and have each teen call out a letter. The teens must write down the letter each person calls out in order. After everyone says a letter, the teens have 10 minutes to create a sentence using each letter as the start of a word. The teens must use each letter and in the same order. After 10 minutes, the teens must read their sentence or sentences aloud. Award prizes to the best and funniest sentences.
Bubblegum
For a messy game, place a piece of bubblegum on a paper plate. Make a plate for each player, and have the players stand in front of the plate with their hands behind their backs. Before you say, "Go," the cover the bubblegum with whipped cream. Say, "Go," and have the players find the bubblegum. Players cannot use their hands. The first player to find the bubble gum, chew it up and blow a bubble wins the game.
Ready, Set, Look
Tell the teens to stand in a circle and place their arms around each other's shoulders. Each player must look down, and the party host must say, "Ready, set, look!" When the host shouts this, the players must immediately look up and look at someone in the circle. Players can look at the player next to them, across from them or anyone in the circle. The object of the game is to be looking at a player who is not looking at you when you look up. All players must be looking at someone in the circle. Any two players, who are looking at each other, are out of the game. Keep playing until only one or two players remain in the game. If you start with an even number of players, you will end up with two winners. If you start the game with an odd number of players, you will have one final winner.
Flashlight Tag
Teens can play a game of flashlight tag in the dark. Give each teen a flashlight and select one teen to be "it." Give "it' a flashlight and have him count to 50. The players can use their flashlights to find their hiding places. After they hide, tell them to turn off their flashlights. After "it" counts to 50, he must use his flashlight to find players. The first person the "it" player spots with his flashlight is the new "it" player for the next game. If you do not have enough flashlights, give the teens glow sticks to use. They can hide the glow sticks light by sitting or laying on them.
