Indoor/Outdoor Scavenger Hunt
Plan an indoor/outdoor scavenger hunt for the teens to play. Write down 25 random items that teens can find indoors and outdoors, such as a bottle of red nail polish, a twig, a piece of gum and an fingernail file. Divide the teens into groups of three or four and give each group a list of items. The first team to find 20 of the 25 items on their list wins a prize.
Don't Say It
Select two or three common words that the teens say and tell them they cannot say those words at the party. As each guest arrives, tell her the words she cannot say and place a beaded necklace around her neck. If a teen hears another teen say one of the forbidden words, she can take her bead necklace. The teen with the most beaded necklaces at the end of the party wins the game.
Gummy Bear Eating Contest
Place 10 gummy bears on a paper plate and cover them with whipped cream. Give each teen one plate of gummy bears and tell him to put his hands behind his back. When you say, "Go," the teens must use only their mouth to eat the gummy bears off the plate. The first teen to eat all 10 gummy bears and show an empty mouth wins the game.
Noise Circle
Have the teens sit in a circle and select one person to go first. That teen must make a noise that is two seconds long. The noise can be a grunt, growl, squeak or scream, but it cannot be any kind of word. The next player in the circle must repeat the noise of the first person and make a noise of her own. Each player repeats all the other noises and adds one of his own. If a player laughs at any time, she is out of the game. If a player cannot remember another player's noise, he is out of the game. The last player standing wins the game and a prize.
