Science Humpty Dumpty
You can use the Humpty Dumpty rhyme to create a fun science experiment. All you need for this is eggs, foil, felt material, tissue paper and paints and paint brushes. You might want to put aprons on the children to protect their clothes. To do the science experiment, supervise the children while they decorate the eggs. Wrap some in foil, felt and tissue paper, while leaving others undecorated. Drop the plain eggs from a height such as from a ladder or a chair. Ask the children to predict what will happen to the egg when it drops, then do the same with the wrapped and decorated eggs. Have the kids recite Humpty Dumpty during each drop.
Humpty Dumpty Piñata
Make a piñata by covering a blown up balloon with newspaper and PVA glue. Once the glue and paper are fully dry, let the air out of the balloon with a pin. Put candy and other treats into the papier mache mold. Use masking tape to seal the mold and decorate it to look like Humpty Dumpty. Let the children hit Humpty Dumpty with a stick; use blindfolds to make it more challenging and fun. Soon enough Humpty will break, and the little ones can have the prizes that are inside.
