Instructions
Create a stack of trivia cards with questions and answers relating to tattoos. Questions could include, "Name the famous female tattoo artist that is the star of the show 'LA Ink'" (Kat Von D), or "Name the color that is the hardest to remove in tattoos" (green).
Place a table in the center of the room and set up tattoo stations around the perimeter. Place an index card, pencil and blank piece of paper at each station. Scatter the temporary tattoos face down so the images cannot be seen. Choose a variety of images and styles for the temporary tattoos.
Assign players to each station and ask them to write on their index cards their name and the answer to two questions: "If you were to get a tattoo, where would you place it on your body?" and "What would inspire the tattoo you chose?" Collect all the cards once the players have finished writing.
Assign a time frame for the game, such as three 10-minute rounds. Ask the group the trivia questions and for every correct answer, the player can flip over one tattoo on the table and decide to keep it and incorporate it into their design or flip it back over and skip their turn. The players will compete with each other to answer as many trivia questions as they can in the time frames. The first person to raise their hand gets to answer the question first. Ask as many questions as you can in the round time frames. If a person does not answer any questions correctly and likewise does not get to choose any tattoos, they are disqualified.
Instruct the players to return to their stations at the end of the final round and give them three minutes to assemble their tattoo and two minutes to apply it to their body.
Display each tattoo to the group, reading each person's index card to tell the group the inspiration and make sure the player placed it where he initially said he would.
Pass out scrap paper to the players and ask them to rank the top three tattoos they felt best conveyed the intended meaning. Assign points to each slot, such as 10 points for first place, five points for second and three for third, and tally the scores the players assigned. The player with the most points wins.
