Wildcat Pennant Craft
Purchase red and white craft foam for the party guests to make their own Wildcats pennant. Put the foam on a table with scissors, glue, glitter, markers, stars and sticker letters. For younger children, be sure you help them with the scissors. Allow the banners time to dry and the guests can take them home as party favors.
Name That Tune
Gather the soundtracks for each of the three "High School Musical" movies. Have the students sit around the party area and play a game of name that tune. Play a song and have the party guests raise their hand if they know the correct answer. Give the player who raises her hand first, the option to guess first. If she gets it right, she earns a point. If not, someone else can guess and earn a point. The player who has the most points at the end of the game wins.
Scene Reenactments
Divide the party guests into groups of four or five. Tell them they have 20 minutes to create a scene from one of the movies. After 20 minutes, the groups must perform the scene in front of the entire party. Award prizes for the best, funniest and silliest scenes.
Troy's Relay Race
Create a relay race in the backyard for party guests. Divide the guests into two teams and have them line up at a starting line. Use duct tape to tape a hula-hoop to a fence or pole and give each team a basketball. Mark a standing line about 10 feet from the hula-hoop. When you say, "Go," the first player in each line has to run to the standing line and try to toss the ball through the hoop. Have an adult stand by the hoops to fix them in case they fall when the guests are playing. Once a player makes the ball through the hoop, he can run to tag the next person on his team who has to do the same thing. The first team to have all their players complete the race win the game.
