Coconut Relay
Divide the players into two teams and have them stand in a line. Give the first player in each line a coconut. When you say, "Go," he will put the coconut under his neck and pass it to the next player in line. Players cannot use their hands to pass the coconut, only their neck and chin. If a player drops the coconut, it must go back to the first person in line and that team must start over. The first team to get their coconut to the last person in line wins the game.
Worm Eating Contest
Fill two pans with several crushed chocolate cookies and gummy worms. Two players at a time will compete in a worm-eating contest. Each player will stand in front of a pan with his hands behind his back. Place a paper plate beside each pan. When you yell, "Go," the two contestants must find two worms and place them on the paper plate. The first player to find two worms, place them on the plate and eat them wins the game.
Rainbow Race
Have the players split into two teams and give each team a plastic bag. Write down several colors of the rainbow on a piece of paper. Give each team a copy of the colors. The teams must race outside or around the party area to find an object of each color of the rainbow. For example, for yellow they can find a yellow flower or a red apple for red. The first team back with objects for each rainbow color on the list wins the game.
Target Tennis
Take a can of white spray paint and paint a bulls-eye on the grass. Give each ring in the bulls-eye a point value. Mark a standing line about 50 feet away from the target. Each player will get three tennis balls to toss at the target. Let the players have a practice round before starting the game. After each player has a turn, the person who earns the highest amount of points wins the game.
