Things You'll Need
Instructions
Lay the pegboard on a flat surface. Turn the board so it is taller than it is wide.
Place 10 grooved dowel pins into the first horizontal row on the pegboard. Skip a hole between each pin.
Place nine dowel pins into the next horizontal row. Start the pins at the second hole in the pegboard so this row is offset from the first.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to fill 13 additional horizontal rows with pins on the pegboard. Alternate between 10 and nine dowel pins per horizontal row.
Place a pin only at the first and last hole for the following four to six horizontal rows on the pegboard.
Place pins in each hole for the following four to six horizontal rows on the pegboard to create slots where the chips will stop.
Wrap a rubber band around the first pins in rows 1, 2, and 3. Wrap a second rubber band around rows 3, 4, and 5. Continue the pattern until all the dowels have a rubber band around them. The rubber bands will form a triangle that will keep the poker chips from falling off the sides of the board. Repeat the procedure for the last pins in each row.
Use different color markers to draw a title as well as names for prizes or dollar amounts for each row. Label the various numbered slots in the following order: 100, 500, 1,000, 0, 10,000, 0, 1,000, 500, 100.
Drop a poker chip into the grooves between the dowels at the top of the board. The chip will randomly bounce through the series of dowel pins into one of the various prize slots.
