How to Have a Seance Slumber Party Game

Place the Ouija board on a flat surface such as a table or hardwood floor.

Tell everyone at the slumber party to gather around the Ouija board. Form a close circle around the board so that everyone can see the letters on the board.

Decide as a group what "spirit" you want to contact. This can be a real person or a pet, or you can decide to contact a spirit that resides in the house where the party is taking place. As a group, chant the name of the person or pet three times out loud in unison. Have one person in the circle ask the "spirit" to "come forward" and speak through the Ouija board.

Ask each person in the circle to think of a question that they would like to ask the "spirit," but make sure you don't tell each other your questions. Just keep them in your head until your turn comes up.

One by one, go around the circle, having each person state their question clearly and loudly to the "spirit" in the room. After each question, have everyone in the circle place their hands on the plachette (the diamond shaped Oujia game piece). See if the "spirit" answers the question! Have someone in the circle write down what the spirit's answer was, even if it doesn't make sense. Maybe it will once all the questions have been answered!
