Things You'll Need
Instructions
Write down each of the destinations where the clues will send the participants. Put the destinations in order, so that you can write clues in the order which you need them.
Write a descriptive clue that you will hand out to all of the participants when the treasure hunt begins. The clue should provide enough information that it leads them to the second destination. For example, if the second destination is the elementary school swings that are located across the street from your home, you may hand out a clue that says something like, "look both ways before you go and seek a seat that takes you high and low." This should lead players to think that they have to cross the street and find the swings.
Write the second clue and make enough copies to leave at the destination for each team or each participant. In other words, if you have nine people playing the game, then you need to leave nine clues at the second destination.
Write a clue to place at each destination that leads to the next destination. The last clue should lead them to the final destination, which is where the treasure or prize is located.
