Ball Toss
Get a board and attach six buckets to the board, about six inches apart. On the first three buckets, write "1", "2" and "3." On the last three, write "S", "M" and "L" for small, medium and large. Mark a standing line about two feet from the buckets, with the last bucket "L" being the farthest bucket away from the standing line. Give each player three plastic ping-pong balls. The player tries to toss the ping-pong balls one at a time into the buckets. He must shoot the balls in order, so he must make the number "1" bucket before shooting for number "2." If he makes the ball, he gets that ball back to try for the remaining buckets. If he misses, he doesn't get that ball back but has two balls left to keep trying. The player has to make it to the "S" bucket to win a small prize. If he makes it to the "L" buckets with one of his three balls, he wins a large prize.
Catch the Frisbee
Have each player stand behind a marked line. An adult stands about 10 feet from the player and throws a Frisbee to him. The player has three chances to catch the Frisbee. If the player catches the Frisbee in one of the three throws, reward him with a small prize.
Prize Walk
Make a circle with numbered squares and have all players stand on a numbered square. Write the same number on small pieces of paper and mix together in a bowl. Play music and have the players walk around the circle. When the music stops, you draw a number out of the bowl. The player who is standing on that number wins a prize.
Win a Goldfish
Buy several small goldfish bowls, and line them up and down and across a table. Give each player five ping-pong balls to try to paddle into the goldfish bowls. If a player makes a ping-pong ball in a goldfish bowl, he wins a live goldfish. Live goldfish are available at pet stores and are inexpensive. If you do not want to award live goldfish in plastic bags, award players with a fake goldfish.
