Spa Games to Play

Body Glitter Contest

• Purchase clear aloe vera gel, clear cosmetic jars with lids, polyester glitter, blank labels and wood stir sticks. Give each player a clear jar with a lid. Place the aloe vera gel, glitter and labels on a table. Tell the players they have 15 minutes to create the best jar of body glitter. The girls mix the aloe vera gel with the glitter to make the body glitter. Have them design their own labels and decorate the jar. Award a spa prize to the most creative, funniest and scariest jar of body glitter.

Spa Relay Race

• Place items such as a hair tie, mud mask and lipstick on a table. Divide the players into teams of two. On "go," the teams run to the table and both players must put their hair up with the hair tie and put on the mud mask and lipstick. Each team is timed and the team who completes the race with the fastest time wins the spa prize.

Spa Scavenger Hunt

• Before the party, make several identical lists with items such as perfume, lipstick, eye shadow, mud mask and a necklace. Divide the players up into teams of three or four and give each player a list. When you say, "go," the teams have to run around the neighborhood trying to collect the spa items on their list. The first team back with all the items on their list wins the game. If young girls are playing this game, send an adult with each team.

Facial Painting Contest

• Mix several colors of mud and facial masks in separate bowls. Put the masks on the table with a variety of paintbrushes. Have each girl select a partner. One partner paints her partner's face with the facial masks. Each girl has 15 minutes to paint her partner's face. Award the team with the most creative face painting. If you want to award other prizes, award a prize to the scariest and funniest facial mask painting.
