Casino Night
Since the idea of providing post-prom activities is largely to keep teenagers out of trouble, come up with games that will attract their attention. Casino night usually holds a lot of appeal to the teenage crowd because it is considered sophisticated and the kids are not yet old enough to enter a real casino. You can set up a lot of different games under this category, such as blackjack, poker and other competitive activities. Rather than using real money, you can provide fake bills and coins and offer prizes to the winners.
Balloon Truth or Dare
Balloon truth or dare is a fun choice for after prom because the students are probably very comfortable with each other at this point. Additionally, they know that they will soon be moving on to new schools and cities and might never see each other again. The combination of these two things means that they will be ready and willing to loosen up and embarrass themselves with a challenging game of truth or dare. For balloon truth or dare, you make up the questions and dares beforehand and write them on small pieces of paper. You slip each piece of paper inside a deflated balloon and then blow up the balloon. To retrieve their paper, each participant must pop the balloon and then read what it says inside.
Ping Pong Tournament
A ping pong tournament is a good, active way for excited teenagers to let out some of their built-up energy. If you set up a few tables, you can have a few games going at once. Keep track of the winners and have the youngsters play each other, until it is narrowed down to just one main winner. You can use this idea with any game, so if the prom took place in a gym, try a basketball tournament or any other sport.
