Find the Makeup
Begin this game by first gathering as many makeup items as you can find, including things like lipstick, eye shadow, mascara and blush. Once you have about three varieties of each type of makeup (e.g. three different shades of blush), write down three different lists combining the different types of makeup. For instance, you want every list to have one each of lipstick, blush, mascara and eye shadow, but the shades or brands should be different on each list. After you complete the three lists, hide the makeup around the play area. Divide the players into three teams and give each team a list of makeup items to find. The players all pick a member from the team to apply the makeup to. After a team finds all the items on their list, they must apply the makeup to the designated teammate. The first team to complete this task, with the correct makeup, wins the game.
Spin the Nail Polish
A makeup twist on the popular teenage game, Spin the Bottle, start this game from the website Birthday Party Ideas for Kids. Gather the players in a sitting circle, so everyone can see each other's faces. Place many different bottles of nail polish within the middle of the circle. Pick one player to spin whichever bottle of nail polish she chooses. When the nail polish bottle has finished spinning, whoever the top of the bottle points to has to have one of her fingernails painted with that polish. This process continues throughout the group until everyone has all of their nails painted. To add a sense of competition to the game, eliminate players from the game as soon as they have all their fingernails painted. Therefore, the last remaining player wins the game.
Makeup Match
To play this game, first procure as many makeup items as you need so each player gets one item. Make sure you have two of each type of cosmetic (e.g., two lipsticks, two eyeliners). Place each item in a paper bag and give each player one bag. Sit the players down in a circle, and pick one player out of the group to go first. She asks another player to quickly show the item from her bag, and then asks another player to show hers. If both of the selected players have the same type of makeup, the first player keeps the items. This process continues until all of the makeup gets matched up. The player with the most makeup items at the end of the game wins.
